Fred and I treasured our many times with Dennis and Christine. They were just perfect host and hostess. The guests came first- always. Christine was a woman larger than life. In that tiny,lovely body lived someone attuned to each guest. She could see into your soul.She was hugely talented,caring,energetic and sympathetic to everyone. Our favorite memory of many is perhaps the summer we came in August to experience our first monsoon season. No one else was there and we spent long days watching storms rise and talking and laughing with them. Nothing dramatic- just four folks sharing and commiserating and laughing. A perfect week!Christine was gentle,empathic,comforting,and very fierce,all at once. She had very definite beliefs ,values - and she lived those beliefs. I looked up to her from the moment I met her,and I will never forget her. As she said,she is now stardust,always beautiful,always near. What a beautiful life she had.
